This is the first of a two-part thought/painting.
Part 1 depicted by the painting THE RIDE: Indian philosophies and teachings explain that we reach a stage when we realize that although there are moments of joy and sadness, in the end, everything that gives happiness is temporary/ human life is a struggle/ everything eventually leads to sadness because of various factors. At that stage one finally reaches the question, "What is the purpose of life?"
